A dumpster tracking app for roll-off haulers
Every roll-off company has lost a can. It got swapped and never logged, or it has been sitting behind a job site for a month. WasteForge keeps a running record of every can: where it is, who moved it, and how long it has been out.
Every can has a status
Each container in WasteForge is in the yard, on a site, in transit, needing repair or retired. It changes on its own when a driver logs a drop, pickup, swap or move, so the count of what is available in each size is always current when a customer calls.
QR codes and quick lookup
- Print a QR sticker for each can from the app and stick it on.
- Drivers scan it with the phone camera, no scanner gun needed.
- No sticker yet? Type the number on the can and pick it from the list.
Proof on every drop and pickup
When the driver taps "Dropped it" the phone camera opens. The photo, the GPS location, the time and an optional "who signed" name are saved with the job. When a customer says the can was never there, or disputes an overload, you have the picture and the pin on the map.
Days on rent, counted for you
The rental clock starts when the driver drops the can and stops when it is picked up. The dispatch board lists every can out on rent with its days out, and flags the ones past their included days with the overage amount. You approve the charge; nothing is billed by itself.
See what happened, live
Drivers tap Accept, En route and On site as they go, and dispatch sees each step on the board. Open any job for its full timeline: who dispatched it, when the driver got there, the drop photo and map pin, and when it was invoiced. No phone calls to find out.

Does WasteForge put GPS trackers on my dumpsters?
No. There is no hardware. The location comes from the driver's phone each time they log a drop, pickup or move, so you see where a can was last left and when.
What if a driver forgets which can number they dropped?
Each job already knows its can, so the driver just taps the button. For a can that is not on their list, they scan its QR sticker with the phone camera or type the number painted on the can.
Does it work where there is no cell signal?
Yes. Drivers still see their jobs and log drops and pickups. Everything saves on the phone and sends by itself when service comes back, with the time it really happened.
Can my customers see where their dumpster is?
They see the status of their job (scheduled, on the way, delivered, completed) and the driver's drop and pickup photos on their own portal page.
